Austin Independent School District (AISD) is seeking proposals from qualified Contractors for 26CSP070 - Renovations at Bryker Woods Elementary School, funded by the 2022 Bond Program. The project will include targeted facility improvements designed to enhance building performance, efficiency, and safety. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Mechanical Systems (HVAC): Furnish and install new HVAC units to serve the Library, Gymnasium, Cafeteria/Kitchen, and select classrooms. Upgrade and integrate HVAC controls into AISD's Building Automation System to ensure compatibility, efficiency, and remote monitoring. Electrical Systems: Replace three (3) existing electrical panels with new, code-compliant panels designed to accommodate current and future electrical loads. Building Envelope: Replace select exterior windows with energy-efficient, impactresistant units meeting current AISD standards. Doors and Hardware: Replace hardware at two designated exterior doors with durable, code-compliant assemblies that ensure full operation, ADA compliance, and compatibility with AISDs keying system. Roof Drainage: Install leaf guards at the Administration Suite roof scuppers to improve drainage and reduce maintenance. The selected Contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, permits, inspections, coordination, and supervision necessary to successfully complete the renovations. All work shall comply with AISD design standards, local building codes, and applicable regulations.
