Interested parties should submit their bids in compliance with the instructions provided herein before the submission deadline. Location: Hangar 6, 1180 Airport Rd, Hutchinson, Ks 67501 Specifications & General Scope of Work 1) Hangar Exterior Repair a) Debris removal b) Tear Out and Replace approx. 168 LF, Gutter, Box, Galvanized Steel, 6" 2) Hangar Roof Repair a) Debris removal b) Tear out and replace approx. 77.40 SQ, Modified Bitumen Asphalt, SBS, Heat Applied, Granular Finish c) Replace missing lettering spelling out HUTCHINSON d) Tear out and replace approx. 7,400 SF, Insulation, Rigid, Fiberboard, 1/2" e) Tear out and replace approx. 320 LF, Drip Edge, Eave/Rake, Aluminum, PreFinished Color f) Tear out and replace 2 EA, Chimney Vent, Galvanized, Single Wall, 6" g) Tear out and replace 2 EA, Vent Cap, Furnace, Aluminum, 6" 3) Interior Hangar Repair a) Debris removal b) Tear out and replace approx. 1,000 SF, Insulation, Foam, Closed Cell, 1", Ceilings c) Tear out and replace approx. 400 SF, Insulation, Foam, Closed Cell, 1", Walls d) Reset / repair Tube Heater, Infrared, Single-Stage e) Reset, repair, or replace approx. 16 LF, Chimney Vent, Galvanized, Single Wall, 6" 5. Instructions to Bidders o All questions should be submitted in writing to the Project Manager at least three days prior to the bid opening. o Bid modifications or withdrawals are allowed before the deadline. o Site visits are encouraged but not mandatory. 6. Bid Format and Required Submissions o Complete all sections outlined in Exhibit A. o Provide all requested documents, including the bidder's details, project understanding, credentials, relevant projects, availability, fee proposal, and any additional information asked for. 7. Selection Process o All bids will be evaluated based on the bidder's qualifications, experience, understanding of the project, proposed fees, and ability to meet timelines. o The City reserves the right to negotiate or reject any or all bids deemed not in the best interest of the City. Failure to mark your Bid may cause your Bid to not be considered during official opening. The Request for Bid Form must be fully completed, including name, signature, title, and telephone number. Bids not submitted pursuant to the conditions set out in this request may be rejected. All Bids received after the stated opening date and time will be returned unopened to the vendor.
