Bid Security: A certified or bank cashier's check for 5 percent of the bid amount, payable to Thurston PUD, or a bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid. Rejection of Bids: The District shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding document or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular. Question Deadline 08/27/2025 Every request for such interpretation shall be submitted in writing to the District and to be given consideration shall be received at least 5 working days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids SOW o Two pumphouses; Lazy St. pumphouse requires minor remodel, Foster St. pumphouse must be completely rebuilt (including electrical). Slab may be reused at contractor's option. o Contractor may store equipment and stage at Lazy St. location, easement at Foster St pumphouse is more limited. o There is one well at Foster St, and two at Lazy St. Two of the three wells must be operational at any time. o New well pumps, controls, and appurtenances for all three wells. o Installation of PFAS treatment equipment and plumbing per plans. o Building structure construction exempt from building permit per city code; contractor responsible for obtaining L&I permits, but Thurston PUD pays PSE disconnect/reconnect fees. o Timeline: NTP will likely be issued immediately following contract execution. Construction period is 180 days to completion from NTP. o Contractor to provide startup under PUD supervision; PUD will collect and submit water tests to lab. o Spill prevention plan and materials onsite o Construction limited to 830am to 430pm o Contractor must restore sites to pre-existing condition or better.
