Magnitude of Construction: IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 36.204 the magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to replace the Mass Notification System, fire alarm panel and all notification appliances and initiating devices, provide necessary mapping of field devices and programing of system. Ensure fire alarm/mass notification system is tied back into the Fort Jackson network and that it reports properly to the Monaco front end. Demonstrate Functionality to Government. Intent is to replicate the existing fire alarm system design with new, current equipment. Contractor shall pull all new wiring, however, reusing existing conduit is acceptable. Wiring shall be shielded to minimize feed-back noise across system. New system shall be compatible with other Ft. Jackson fire alarm systems. The above scope of work is not intended to detail every aspect of this task. It is only intended to establish the end state and define expectations. The end state is the removal and replacement of the existing fire alarm system and that it operates in full automatic mode. As system is being completely replaced, the contractor shall ensure the new system is approved and signed off on by a licensed fire protection engineer (FPE).
