Experience in Landscaping (Form 850- 070-09) Must Be Completed and Submitted With Bid. Lump Sum. Special Bid Requirement: At the Time of Bid Submit the Following: 1) A Letter of Reference From a Government Agency or an Independent Business That States the Bidder Has Satisfactorily Completed A Landscape Project of at Least $500,000 as the Landscape Contractor. 2) Three (3) Separate Letters of Endorsement From Three (3) Registered Landscape Architects Currently Licensed in the State of Florida. Endorsements Shall Include the Landscape Architect's Signature, License Number, Description of Landscape Work Performed, Quality of the Work, and Location of Project. Note: All Letters and Endorsements Shall Be Signed and Dated Within the Last Five (5) Years. Question Deadline 09/10/2025 at 5:00 PM ET, Questions posted to this site will be responded to by the Department. For questions posted after this time, an answer cannot be assured. For all questions posted before the deadline, FDOT will provide and post responses on online For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects.
