Rethatch the five (5) chickee hut roofs at the museum. Located at the Collier County Main Campus Museum. The Museum on the main Collier County Government campus experienced damage from Hurricane Ian. This damage resulted from high winds and flooding/storm surge and 5 chickee huts need to be repaired. The Facilities Management Division (hereinafter, the "Division or Department") has issued this informal competition Quick Quote (hereinafter, "QQ") with the intent of obtaining quotes from interested vendors in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications stated or attached. The vendor, at a minimum, must achieve the requirements of the Specifications or Scope of Work stated. Chickee Hut Roof Repairs Rethatch the five (5) chickee hut roofs at the museum. Contractor may use existing thatching as appropriate. Contractor should make a complete repair, eliminate any holes, and prevent water leaks to ensure a complete repair to the roofs, and walls, if necessary, on all sides. Use all matching fasteners. Contractor to field verify all measurements. Replace all damaged, rotted, or missing cross bracing in kind (diameter, length, style, wood material, etc.) that thatched roof is nailed to, as needed to make a complete repair and match existing. Resecure cross beams to match existing. This project is all inclusive costs. Missing thatched areas include: Chickee Hut #1: 26.12669 N, 81.76258 W (northernmost) approximately 480 SF Replace all damaged cross bracing (approx. 100%) on Chickee Hut #1. Chickee Hut #2: 26.12655 N, 81.76269 W approximately 190 SF Replace all damaged or rotted cross bracing (approx. 70%) on Chickee Hut #2. Chickee Hut #3: 26.12650 N, 81.76262 W approximately 285 SF Replace all damaged or rotted cross bracing (approx. 60%) on Chickee Hut #3. Chickee Hut #4: 26.12632 N, 81.76263 W approximately 255 SF Replace all damaged or rotted cross bracing (approx. 50%) on Chickee Hut #4.
