Quotes from qualified vendors to deliver and install four (4) industrial high volume low speed (HVLS) ceiling fans for the CCSD Kennesaw Warehouse to improve air flow. SCOPE OF WORK The vendor must provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, and all non personal services necessary for purchase and to install four (4) industrial HVLS ceiling fans. Vendors shall inspect the site where the fans are to be installed and to familiar themselves regarding all general conditions that may affect the cost of contract, to the extent that the information is reasonable obtainable at the pre-quote site visit. The hours of operation for the CCSD Kennesaw Warehouse are 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding federal and district holidays for the operation side of the warehouse. Food and Nutrition side of the warehouse, prefers installation to be during a district holiday. Vendors are to provide industrial high volume low speed (HVLS) ceiling fans: 2.4.1 (2) 18 ft. Diameter and (2) 20 ft. Diameter fans 2.4.2 Minimum number of blades: 5 2.4.3 Aluminum material 2.4.4 Neodymium magnet motor rated IP66, 277 volts 2.4.5 UL Standard 507 and CSA standard 22.2 NO. 113 2.4.6 Standard upper mount to I-beams and bar joints 2.4.7 Double safety cable system, airfoil retainers, hub safety clips, grade 8 hardware, fire relay, guy wires and airfoil restraint system 2.4.8 Controller rated IP55, on/off and variable speed control All equipment must be new. Installation 2.6.1 Vendor is responsible for notifying the owner's representative listed above, for the delivery and installation date prior to delivery of fans. 2.6.1.1 Vendor must deliver and install on the same day, unless otherwise requested in writing by the district. 2.6.1.2 Vendor must give owner's representative at least two (2) business days' notice for delivery. 2.6.2 The industrial ceiling fan must be mounted to structural beams and shall have safety cables. 2.6.3 The vendor must hang the industrial ceiling fan with mount from the manufacturer and installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications. 2.6.4 The vendor must make electrical connections from the industrial ceiling fan to the power panel AHA located in Audiology electrical closet and panel HF in the electrical closet located in the Food and Nutrition Area Supervisors area. 2.6.5 Structural grade 8.8 bolts must be used for mounting. 2.6.6 Wiring must be in electrical conduit (no exposed wires). 2.6.7 The vendor must ensure that all possible deflection, vibration, torque, along with other such detrimental forces are considered, controlled, and eliminated as necessary. 2.6.8 The vendor must provide and install all necessary metal conduit, fittings, boxes wire, and switches to ensure a properly working and code compliant ceiling fan system. 2.6.9 The vendor must install a ceiling fan control box for each fan. 2.6.10 If any components are found to be defective or DOA (Dead on Arrival), it is the vendor's responsibility to obtain replacement parts.
