The Project includes the following Work: Project includes improvements to both the Rincon and Salem Wastewater Treatment Plants in the northern extent of Dona Ana County. The Rincon WWTP improvements will consist of removing and replacing deteriorated process equipment at the main plant, and includes the installation of new mixing and aeration systems within the existing concrete basins for an improved nitrification-denitrification process. In addition, the Rincon WWTP effluent disposal leachfield will be expanded to comply with nitrogen land application loading limitations as defined by the state groundwater quality discharge permit. Improvements to the Salem WWTP will require the removal of deteriorated equipment within the two SBR basins and the digester basin, and includes the installation of new process equipment within these basins. Removal and replacement of specific lift station equipment at both the Rincon and Salem main wastewater lift stations is also included. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Dona Ana County Salem and Rincon WWTP Improvements The Project has an expected duration of 330 calendar days. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. For bidding forms, and Contract Documents, including plans, specifications, and other documents to be used in connection with the submission of bids, prospective Bidders are invited to register under the BHITracker web portal link located at www.bhinc.com to obtain access to the Bids section for distribution of bid documents electronically. Select the pertinent project as listed on the projects list.
