A. Extent of drawings and specifications defining all work to be performed under this contract are listed on the A/Es Cover Page of this specification book. It is the bidding Contractor's sole responsibility to verify that he has received all sheets of plans and specifications as no claim for extra cost will be allowed due to lack of complete information at time of bid. B. Equipment or work indicated on plans to be By Owner or N.I.C is not to be included in bid proposal or construction contract. C. The contractor and all respective Subcontractors shall report to the Engineer the suspected presence of any asbestos containing materials encountered during the performance of their work not specifically addressed in the contract documents. Once unforeseen asbestos containing materials are suspected of being present, work shall stop until such time as the Owner deems it safe to continue with the work. Project Scope: This project involves replacing the existing water-cooled chiller and cooling tower with new aircooled chillers located outside the boiler room in a new fenced enclosure. New pumps will replace the existing chilled water pumps, and new coils will be installed in the air handling units. Work includes piping modifications, new equipment pads, fencing, site grading, and electrical connections. All systems will be commissioned and integrated with the building automation system.
