This project consists of all work associated with the lump sum and unit price bid for Aston Drive Drainage & Roadway Improvements, including grading, paving, traffic signal, storm drain, inlets, box culvert, headwalls, water line, pavement markings, and signing. Project shall include all necessary labor, materials, and testing in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project is located on the northwest corner of Crossroads Blvd and FM 1417 in Sherman, Texas. The project includes filling an existing pond and excavating a new retention pond, which will include +/- 235,000 CY of excavation and +/- 90,000 CY of offsite import from a nearby stockpile (within 1 mile of site). The project includes over 6,000 LF of underground storm drainage lines including over 4,000 LF of box culvert ranging in size up to 10' x 10' RCB (+/- 550 LF), including large, cast-in place junction boxes and associated headwalls. Aston Drive is a proposed public commercial collector roadway, totaling +/- 2,200 LF slip form paving (45' (B-B)). In addition, there's a proposed 12" waterline along the ROW of Aston Drive included in this project. Project shall include all necessary labor, materials, and testing in accordance with the plans and specifications. 2. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site to accommodate the activity present. There will be no consideration for additional construction time or bid items due to traffic.
