The General Contractor (GC) shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, permitting, engineering, and related services required to complete structural reinforcement work at the Marshall Center, located at 317 Warnock Street Louisville, Ky 40208. Work includes steel beam modifications, equipment relocation, collateral construction activities, and site protection in full compliance with contract documents, codes, and specifications. Base Scope of Work Structural Modifications: Reinforce two (2) existing steel beams with WT shapes. Replace bolts at one (1) second-floor framing connection. Install steel, welds, and bolted connections per plans and specifications. Equipment Relocation: Relocate weightlifting and cardio equipment to and from work areas. Protect all branded athletic equipment from damage. Conduct walkthrough with Athletics before relocation. Collateral Work: Prime and apply two (2) coats of finish paint on all new steel; touch up disturbed areas. Remove/reinstall conduit, lighting, low-voltage wiring, and speakers as needed. Coordinate with Facilities to bypass fire alarms, drain/refill sprinklers, capture water, clean up, and relocate piping/heads (shop drawings/calculations if required at GC expense). Site Protection & Clean-Up: Protect entrances, recently installed sports flooring, adjacent finishes, and equipment from dust, debris, overspray, water, or damage. Provide staging, hoisting, craning, and access as required. Maintain daily cleanliness and final site restoration. Promptly (within 24 hours) repair any damages caused, at GC's expense. Add Alternate Scope Install cement underlayment on second-floor area. Reinforce one (1) additional steel beam with a WT shape.
