Project includes the rebuild of sections of the existing parapet wall on the Bowman Field Administration Building. The project includes partial window replacements around the exterior of the building. 1. Remove existing roof insulation, roof membrane, flashings, roof components and sheet metal components, down to roof deck and dispose of properly, off site. 2. Repair existing roof deck as per Unit Prices. 3. Install the new roofing components in accordance with Johns Manville latest recommendations. 1. remove existing windows from from the east end of the south face (@ restaurant) & replace w/ new windows per work plan 2. remove existing windows from from the east end of the north face (@ restaurant) & replace w/ new windows per work plan 3. remove all existing round windows throughout building & replace w/ new windows per work plan Each sealed Bid shall be accompanied by an irrevocable Bank Letter of Credit, or satisfactory Bid Bond (see Attachment #8) with good corporate surety, in a sum not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the Bid, payable without condition to the Louisville Regional Airport Authority, to guarantee that if the Bidder's offer results in an Award, the Bidder will furnish all required bonds, insurance certificate(s) and insurance policy(ies) within ten (10) Calendar Days after the Notice of Award is given, and enter into the Contract within thirty (30) Calendar Days after the Notice of Award is given. The Owner will encourage the successful Bidder to enter into, and will assist the successfulBidder in securing, a project agreement, or other agreement, to reduce the risk of work stoppages or other labor related delays during the term of the Project.
