Renovation of a water / sewer project in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Cincinnati is requesting bids to provide services for replacing outdated brine-making system(s) with modern equipment. The primary objective is to upgrade the system that produces brine for street surfaces during winter weather operations. Additionally, the project aims to enhance the consistency of the solution and provide more accurate production data. Base bid location: Colerain Garage, 3300 Colerain Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45214. Alternates consist of removing and replacing the brine-making systems at the Crookshank (5150 Crookshank Road) and Dunbar (4635 Red Bank Road) Garages. 273C909367 A Bid Bond, deposit of cash or Certified Check, Bank Cashier's or Bank Official's Check drawn on a solvent bank payable to the Treasurer of the City of Cincinnati, in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted a Contract will be entered into. The Contractor will be required to provide performance surety in the amount of 100% of the Contract value. Bidder must use the Construction Bid Surety and Signature Form included in Volume 2, as no other will be accepted The City reserves the right to waive informalities not inconsistent with law or to reject any or all bids.
