BC Timber Sales, Boundary Field Team has 112 hectares of various types of Mechanical Site Preparation to be completed on 10 different Treatment Units in the Fall of 2025. Treatment Boundary ribbons have not been established on any of the Treatment Units due to the amount of area that has been typed as greater than 35% side slope. The operator will need to determine what areas can be safely treated. A final deliverable of this contract includes the GPS of the Operator's completed areas, or 'Avenza tracks', for example, this is mandatory. These GPS tracks will be utilized for payment purposes. A weekly production rate of 15 hectares is expected for the duration of the contract.
