Description

Renovation of a medical facility in Nelson, British Columbia. Design plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

This project will implement a new Fluid Cooler System to increase the cooling capacity and reliability of the existing Mechanical infrastructure at KLH. The work will focus on supporting Heat Pump 2 by enhancing the system's ability to respond to high ambient temperatures. Once complete, the upgraded system will reduce reliance of city water and improve operational resilience during warmer seasonal periods. TIMELINE: Request for proposal for mechanical engineering services for the project has closed and a preferred proponent has been chosen. Schedules may be confirmed in spring 2026.
