Site work and paving for a civil project in Kitzmiller, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
**As of October 14, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The purpose of this project is to take measures to remove and stabilize an existing landslide. The work shall consist of excavating the landslide material, disposal of the material in a waste area, installation of anchors, temporary drainage control, sediment and erosion control measures and revegetation.as more fully shown in the plans and specifications prepared by E.L. Robinson Engineering for the Department of the Environment-Mining Program. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each bid. A performance/payment bond in the full bid amount will be required of the successful contractor. Question Deadline 09/16/2025 at 2:00 PM ET All work under this contract shall be substantially completed within 60 calendars days and completed within 90 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to cancel this invitation to bid and to waive technicalities in any part deemed to be in the best interest of Garrett County
