Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hudson, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The proposed work on Lake Forest Drive includes the installation of approximately 1,800 LF of new five (5) foot wide Class C sidewalk, storm improvements, curbing, pedestrian improvements, driveway improvements, grading and restoration between Boston Mills Road and Essex Circle. The project also includes the realignment of Lake Forest Drive for approximately 230 feet. The proposed work on Boston Mills Road consists of the construction of approximately 3,600 feet of new 10' wide multi-use path, including the installation of two timber boardwalks and a bridge over Lake Forest, an 8' stone path through the Park will also be installed. Some of the existing multi-use paths along Boston Mills Road will also be used and upgraded between 115 Executive Parkway and Lake Forest Drive in the City of Hudson, Ohio, in accordance with the specifications which are on file in the office of the City Engineer. Lake Forest Sidewalk and Road Realignment - Final completion: May 1, 2026 Boston Mills Road Multi-Use Path - Final completion: June 26, 2026 State of Ohio Fund 7031 or 7035 monies are being used to assist in the construction of the Boston Mills Road Multi-Use Path and relevant state requirements will apply. Bids must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the ORC, in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the City of Hudson. In the case of disruption of national communications or loss of services by Bid Express within two hours prior to the deadline for submission of bids, the City will delay the deadline for bid submissions to ensure the ability of potential bidders to submit bids. If this occurs, instructions will be communicated to potential bidders. The City of Hudson, Ohio reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any nonconformities not involving price, time, or changes in the work.
