Renovation of a water / sewer project in Hudson, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The proposed work consists of the upgrading of Softener #4 at the City of Hudson Water Treatment Plant located at 572 W. Streetsboro Road. Work includes interior and exterior work, including installation of new 6" DeZurik influent and effluent valves for isolation of softener, removal and disposal of existing softener media, cleaning of softener vessel, inspection coordination by 3rd party contractor, and full media replacement, enlarging entry hatch to OSHA standards, structural rehabilitation of tank (pitwelds), disinfection, sandblasting, & epoxy coating of softener vessel. Work may also include partial or full replacement of internal tank components, disinfecting and epoxy coating and additional work related to Softener #3 in the City of Hudson, Ohio, in accordance with the specifications which are on file in the office of the City Engineer. Bids must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the ORC, in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the City of Hudson. The City of Hudson, Ohio reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any nonconformities not involving price, time, or changes in the work.
