The Grantham Village School seeks proposals for the Preschool Playground at the elementary school with the exact location being 75 Learning Drive, Grantham, NH. The timeline for this project would be a start date as early as September 12, 2025 and completed by November 30, 2025. The District reserves the right to request additional information or clarification of any submitted proposals. Proposals and proposal pricing must remain open for sixty (60) days. This solicitation will become an addendum to any resultant contract. Proposals may be withdrawn or modified by the submitting firm at any time before the closing date and time for receipt of proposals. The RFP is not a low-bid price competition. Instead, proposals will be reviewed in accordance with the Evaluation Criteria stated within this RFP. This RFP supersedes all other proposals, oral and written, and all negotiations, conversations, or discussions between the parties related to the subject matter. Contract award will be based on bestperceived value to the Grantham School District. Current Status: The current preschool playground is small with wood chips for ground cover and not ADA compatible for all students ages 3-5. Enlarged playground area, ground cover and equipment is needed to service the current population of preschool students. Scope of Services: The school district has set a definite budget for all of the equipment and work discussed above. The proposal shall include the cost of the installation and the playground equipment as outlined below. All equipment will be: ADA compliant and suitable for early childhood and preschool students ages 3-5; compliant with commercial playground structures for inground mounting; be manufactured from durable, non-toxic, and weather-resistant materials. Must be compliant with public playground safety standards of American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (ASTM and CPSC). o Poured in place, fully installed rubber playground surfacing to cover a 30' x 50' area. ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessibility preferred with a fall height of 5 feet. o ADA-Compliant Equipment: Must include accessible ramps, sensory panels, and ground-level play components that meet the requirements of ADA. o Playground system to include slides, activity panels, climbing activities, ground level activities, sensory panels and installation. o Musical activity panel set and installation. o Climbing wall with tunnel and installation o Bubble wall or similar equipment and installation. o Similar equipment to promote gross motor and fine motor development, multi-sensory, music and movement, and dramatic play and installation. o Professionally install all playground equipment and safety surfacing according to manufacturer's specifications and all applicable safety standards. o Clean up the site upon completion of the project, including the removal of all debris and excess materials. o Provide a final safety inspection and certification of compliance.
