The project involves the renovation of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Crow Agency Quarters 140 at 140 Weaver Drive, Crow Agency, MT 59022 in Big Horn County. The estimated price range for the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The contractor must begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and complete the work within 90 days. The project is set aside for Indian Owned Small Business Economic Enterprises and will be awarded as a firm-fixed-price contract. Proposals must include a completed SF-1442 form, a technical capabilities statement, past performance information, a schedule of values, an Indian Business Economic Enterprise Representation, and representations regarding certain telecommunications and video surveillance. The price factor will assess the reasonableness of the proposed prices. The contractor must comply with various contract clauses, including those related to permits and responsibilities, federal, state, and local taxes, and the Davis-Bacon Act. The contractor must also provide performance and payment bonds and comply with the Department of the Interior's electronic invoicing and payment requirements. Special attention is called to the requirement for liability insurance, with specified minimum amounts for personal injury, property damage, and other coverage. Location: Bureau of Indian Affairs, Crow Agency Quarters 140, 140 Weaver Drive, Crow Agency, MT 59022 Summary of Work. The Contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials, services, equipment, tools, and insurance to conduct renovations on quarters 140. This covers both interior and exterior renovations. Areas of renovations include the following: Exterior: Roof, Siding, Foundation, Storm Doors, Lighting, and Decking. Interior: Lighting, Flooring, Walls, Ceilings, Living Room, Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedrooms, Gas Heating, and Water Heater. Dimensions: This is a single level house with the main floor measuring 829 square feet. The floor layout will be submitted as an attachment for reference. Location: Project is located at 140 Weaver Drive Crow Agency, MT 59022. 1A.2 Scope of Work. These specifications, together with other referenced documents, standards, and drawings in the contract documents, cover the requirements for all work associated with renovations of quarters 140. 1B.1 Roof and Gutters: The contractor will remove all existing shingles, moisture barriers, damaged sheathing, existing damaged gutters, and ventilation seals. The contractor will be responsible for disposal of all materials removed. 1. Contractor shall assess all safety precautions while working near power lines and seek permission from the Power Company to work on the roof. 2. Contractor shall wear the proper PPE for the job. 3. Contractor is responsible for disposal and hauling all debris removed from the area. 4. Contractor is responsible for recording and submitting a document on type and weight of materials disposed. 1B.2 Renovations: The contractor will replace the existing shingled roof with a metal roof. No materials will be reused on the new roof other than sheathing deemed serviceable and in good condition. Components of a new metal roof consist of sheathing, moisture barrier, drip edges, closure strips, roofing panels, sub fascia, fascia, and ridge cap, and gutters. Estimated roof dimensions are 18'W x 36'L on each side. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
