The purpose of this solicitation is to solicit responses to enter into a contract with a qualified vendor to obtain the products and services listed for Utah Valley University. After reviewing the submitted responses, the University may choose not to proceed with the procurement. Awarded vendor must visit site and self varify all measurements before manufacturing padding. Bid measurements are for bidding purposes only. All Padding must meet the NCAA requirements for the January 1, 2027 ruling. All bids must include installation, shipping and handling. All questions, inquiries, or requests for information, clarification, or interpretation arising subsequent to the issuance of this IFB shall be submitted in writing through online. All pricing shall be guaranteed for the initial contract period. Following the guarantee period, any request for price adjustment must be guaranteed for the duration of the renewal period, and must be made at least 60 days prior to the effective date. Requests for price adjustment must include sufficient documentation supporting the request. Any adjustment or amendment to the contract will not be effective unless approved by Procurement Services. The University will be given the immediate benefit of any decrease in the market, or allowable discount. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to install new protective padding throughout the baseball field as specified below. The purpose of this project is to enhance player safety by ensuring that all exposed surfaces are properly padded to meet the new NCAA rules and regulations. ((The NCAA requires that baseball fields hosting competition must have padding on all hard surfaces, including backstops, sideline and home run fences, and dugouts, by January 1, 2027. The padding must begin no higher than 1 foot off the ground and extend to the top of the hard surface or 6 feet from the ground, whichever is shorter.
