Description

Renovation of a civil project in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The rehabilitation of the existing plant water pump station includes replacing three pumps with two new dry-pit submersible pumps, as well as updating the piping and valves. A new automatic backwashing strainer will also be installed. The project also entails replacing the electrical distribution equipment with new power panels and variable-frequency drives and installing the necessary conduits and conductors for the new equipment. New instrumentation, controls, and PLCs will be provided to monitor and control the pump station. HVAC upgrades will consist of new exhaust fans, air conditioning for the electrical room, and an air scrubber system.
