For the furnishing to City of all labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and all other items necessary for Zone 3 and Zone 5 Street Improvement Project (the "Project"). Bidders shall not make any efforts to unduly influence City decision-making or otherwise gain an unfair advantage outside of the bidding process. Any and all inquiries and comments regarding this Bid must be communicated in writing, unless otherwise instructed by the City. The City may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any Bidder who engages in any prohibited communication The project to be constructed consists of grinding of existing asphalt pavement, removal of existing pavement and construct AC Dig-Out, construct AC Berm, adjusting to grade existing utility valves and manholes, and installation of thermoplastic pavement markings and striping. The project is located on Tumin Road, Fullerton Road, East Road, Skyline Drive, Kanola Road, Dorothea Road, Avocado Crest Road, Oleander Road, Peppertree Drive and Encinas Drive in La Habra Heights. Bids must be submitted on City's Bid Forms. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. In bidding on this Project, it shall be the Bidder's sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this contract and applicable law in its Bid. Substitution requests shall be made within 35 calendar days after the award of the Contract.
