The Work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all superintendence, overhead, labour, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, fuel, transportation and all things necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of Parking Lot Repaving of Surrey Police Services West Main Headquarters, located at 14245 56th Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia (the "Place of Work") in strict accordance with the Specifications and accompanying Drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract. The general components of the Work include: Complete removal and replacement of existing asphalt, including adjustments to existing base gravels as required Removal of existing greenspace and installation of full depth pavement structure in one area as specified Reinstatement of all line markings, and installation of curbs, bollards, delineators, etc. as specified Installation of tree barriers and adherence to City tree protection requirements as required Completion of work in two phases as specified The place of work is a secured, gated parking lot compound, and Surrey Police Service (SPS) Security Clearance is a requirement and must be applied for and obtained, prior to being granted access to perform work on the property. Security Clearance must be obtained for all officers, employees, and agents of the Tenderers and all sub-contractors employed or contracted. The Tenderer should be aware that SPS Security Clearance may take a number of weeks to process from initial application. The Tenderer must be diligent in submitting applications for Security Clearance for all officers, employees, agents, and sub-contractors immediately upon award. The Tenderer is responsible for any time, effort, and cost to obtain the required SPS Security Clearances. Award amount was not released for publication.
