The Town of Middlebury is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to solicit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering and project development firms for as-needed consultant services. Selected firm(s) will support various municipal initiatives across engineering, planning, design, and maintenance categories on an on-call basis. Contracts will be awarded for a period of three (3) years from the effective date, with the possibility of two (2) additional one-year extensions. The Town of Middlebury Department of Public Works (DPW) seeks qualifications for services under the following categories: Asset Management - systems implementation, program development. Civil Engineering - general municipal infrastructure support. Water Resources - including stormwater, wastewater, and potable water. Transportation - roadway design (including roads, bridges, culverts, slopes), planning, and safety enhancements. Structural Engineering - analysis, design, and retrofits. Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering (MEP) -HVAC design, electrical systems, geothermal design, solar design, plumbing, fire protection, and other related areas. Surveying - boundary, topographic, and construction layout. Geotechnical Engineering - subsurface investigations and site assessments. Architectural Services - municipal building design. Landscape Architecture - site planning and beautification projects. Tree Services/Arborist - canopy management and consultation. Building Maintenance - systems maintenance, repairs. Project Development - planning, feasibility, permitting, and review.
