Scope of Work 1. SCADA System Replacement Design, procurement, and installation of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the water plant. 2. Water Meter Replacement: Supply and installation of 209 water meters across the district, this will include up to 20 pit replacements. Bid Requirements Contractors must be licensed and insured. Experience in similar water infrastructure projects is required. Bids must include a detailed cost breakdown, timeline, and references. Bond Requirements Bid Bond: A bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid amount must be submitted with the bid to ensure the bidder's commitment to the project. Performance Bond: The awarded contractor must provide a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount to guarantee satisfactory completion of the project. Payment Bond: A payment bond equal to 100% of the contract amount is required to ensure payment to subcontractors, laborers, and suppliers. If the contract price is less than $50,000, the bonding requirements can be waived in favor of an irrevocable letter of credit.
