The scope of work includes the construction of Memorial Park at the corner of Dorsett Road and Fee Fee Road in the City of Maryland Heights. Questions should be directed to Ethan Bialik, P.E., at Maryland Heights Government Center (314) 291-6550. Complete electrical work for the new Memorial Park in Maryland Heights. Electrical: Provide all labor / materials / permitting / engineering as required to install owner furnished lighting package as shown on sheet AS1.2. Provide trenching / concrete bases as required for electrical work, spoils from excavation shall be removed from site. Install owner furnished 100A 120/240V 1Phase 3Wire panel / meter. Provide unistrut rack as required. Furnish and install contactor / photocell for lighting control. Provide (1) 20A duplex receptacle w/ metal lockable in use cover below panel. Provide GRC / IMC conduit above grade for Type W fixtures. All wiring to be cooper other than service entrance feeders. Reference list above for all owner furnished equipment. Awarded contractor shall pick up stored materials at location TBD and store for duration of project. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workmen performing under this contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. For any contract greater than $5,000, the successful bidder shall comply with RSMo 285.530, as amended and by sworn affidavit affirming that it does not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection with this contract. The required documentation must be from the federal work authorization program provider. A letter from contractors reciting compliance is not sufficient. The City of Maryland Heights reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City. A Bid may not be modified, withdrawn or cancelled by the bidder within sixty (60) days following the time and date designated for the receipt of bids, and each bidder so agrees in submitting his bid.
