Site work for a water / sewer project in Del Rio, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes testing for lead-based paint on existing coatings, complete removal of existing paint/coating from eight radial Tainter gates, and surface preparation through sandblasting to achieve the required cleanliness and profile. A new coating system will be applied as specified in the technical specifications. The project also involves replacement of radial gate anodes, side seals, bottom seals, and seal fasteners, as well as re-tensioning of gate cables and alignment of gates after seal replacement and re-lubrication. All work must comply with safety and environmental regulations, including the handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
