Renovation of a water / sewer project in Sidney, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
WWTP Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Upgrades The project consists of updating two (2) PLCs. The first PLC is located in the Raw Pump Station, is an Allen Bradley SLC 504 with HMI. The second is an Allen Bradley SLC 500 and located in the Blower Building. The successful bidder will be responsible for purchasing two Allen-Bradley Compact Logix PLCs (or equal) that are compatible with the existing Compact Logix PLCs currently active at the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The bidder will also be responsible for removing existing PLCs and installing the new PLCs in the existing control cabinets and transferring the existing ladder logic programming to the new units. This project also includes system startup, verification of all monitoring and control functions, and troubleshooting any programming issues to ensure proper operation of the WWTP Facility. A pre-bid meeting is NOT scheduled. Question Deadline 08/29/2025 at 3:00 PM ET Any and all questions regarding the referenced project must be submitted through online. The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio for Building Construction. The current threshold for payment of prevailing wage rates is $75,000. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Sidney reserves the right to waive any irregularities, to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the bidder deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Sidney.
