Qualified contractor to remove and replace a patio as outlined in the attached IFB Section 1, Scope of Work. Remove and replace concrete in two areas. Larger area is 3950 sq. ft. and the smaller area is 750 sq. ft. Site map shown on following page. New patio to be concrete with dowels, 4-inch mesh reinforced 4000 lb with trowel finish and brushed surface and for the concrete to be sealed after the forms are removed. May need minimal additional infill however the existing foundation should be sufficient for the new concrete OMH can provide a space nearby the construction area to temporarily store the old concrete. Removal and disposal of the old concrete is the responsibility of the contractor. Work to include temporary pedestrian traffic controls the patio is a heavy traffic area for pedestrians and carts so we request the contractor coordinate the demolition and pours to minimize downtime by completing the work in sections. While particular areas are closed, we request a safety fence to block off areas.
