Renovation of a military facility in Edinburgh, Indiana. Working plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

*As of October 14, 2025, all bids have been rejected. A timeline for rebid has not been established.* Camp Atterbury RTI Building 5 Roof Maintenance & Repair A Bid Bond made payable to the Adjutant General's Office, State of Indiana, must be enclosed with the bid. Said bond shall be in the minimum amount of five (5%) percent of the maximum bid including all additive alternate bids. All bidders must be Certified Contractors, hold a Valid Certificate of Qualification 1542.04 or 1761.01 from the Certificate Board, Room 467, Indiana Government Center, 402 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, at the time of bid opening. Certification with the Department of Transportation does not meet the above-mentioned requirement for pre-qualification. The bidder must be qualified in the classification of the prime contract. The contract for this work shall be awarded or rejected within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of opening bids. Funds are presently available for this acquisition. The State Armory Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Note: Contracts resulting from this solicitation will be required to conform to I.C. 4-13-18 (Contractor's Employee Drug Testing). Note: In accordance with I.C. 4-13-16.5-2, the following goals are established for this construction: MBE 7%, WBE 5% and IVBE 3%. In addition, a set may be reviewed at DPW Building 232 Eggleston Street, Camp Atterbury Department of Facilities Engineering. Contact information for RFT's and/or product substitution requests through the Project Manager, mitchell.l.cox2.nfg@army.mil. All product substitution requests must be submitted in writing by September 3, 2025, by 4:00 p.m. This is a Bid Build project and is a lump sum lowest responsible bid contract. Award will be subject to availability of funds. The project duration period is estimated at 150 days, with proposed commencement of work coordinated with building occupants that will continue to utilize the facility during construction. Note: No scheduled setbacks are anticipated, however interface required with temporary protection and potential for intermittent HVAC shutdowns so as not to interrupt facility operations. Further Performance of Work also includes any associated flashing, boots, termination bars, and sealants required to meet manufacturers standard installation procedural requirements and additional appurtenances as required per manufacturers specifications, together with strict adherence of all installation guidelines. This project consists of selective demolition to the existing aluminum sheathed modified roof, coverboard, and insulation as identified on the drawings, selective demolition required for mechanically attached coverboard layer over manufacturer approved substrate, and installation of a new fully adhered TPO roofing system developed to maintain minimum 1/4":1'-0" cross slope to roof drains. Supplemental work includes similar process stated above on the existing EPDM roofing membrane at the far east portion of the facility over the classroom addition. This Maintenance and Repair Project is to be performed under the supervision of a qualified roofing applicator approved by the manufacturer and is required to be inspected by the manufacturers technical representative thereby submitting documentation for a twenty-year warranty on the roofing systems materials and installation. The CONTRACTOR shall provide the supervision, coordination, expertise, materials, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to complete the requirements proposed in this project, which include but are not limited to the following tasks: a) Selective demolition required for Performance of the Work. b) Prepare surfaces and substrates for Roofing Rehabilitation. c) Provide insulation and coverboard to include but not limited to manufactures recommended expansion, tie-in, transitions, reinforcing, supports, and protection. d) Furnish and install fully adhered Thermoplastic Polyolefin Single-ply Membrane System Reference drawings under separate cover.
