The City of Wichita is seeking bids from firm(s) to provide construction services for the Public Works & Utilties Department. The scope includes: 1. Site Improvements include grading. 2. Influent Pump Station Improvements include replacement of valves, and piping in the influent pump station. 3. Electrical Improvements include electrical connections; and instrumentation. 4. Odor Control Improvements include installation of a biotrickling filter system; odor control above-grade piping and odor control fans; site water and biotrickling filter drain connections. 5. SCADA Improvements include SCADA system hardware component installation, software. and programming. 6. Other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidder and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the Bid. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids for a period of ninety days after the actual date of the opening of the Bids. The Successful Bidder must furnish a 100-percent Performance Bond and a 100-percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
