Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Colwyn, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
For Walnut Street Resurfacing Funded by CDBG and PENNDOT Liquid Fuels funds. The scope of work includes the construction/restoration of the roadway including milling/resurfacing the existing roadway, concrete curb, concrete sidewalks, ADA curb ramps, signage/pavement markings and all ancillary work associated with the restoration of Walnut Street. The project comprises of an approximate total of the following items of work: Item No. Est. Qty. Description 1 1 LS Mobilization (Max 2.5% of the Total Amount Bid up to $10,000) 2 1 LS Maintenance and Protection of Traffic 3 140 LF Plain Cement Concrete Curb (Restoration) 4 400 LF Plain Cement Concrete Curb for Curb Ramp Construction 5 110 SY Plain Concrete Sidewalk (Restoration) 6 300 SY Plain Concrete Sidewalk for Curb Ramp Construction, Including Detectable Warning Surfaces 7 525 SY Asphalt Pavement Restoration (Base Repair) 8 2,600 SY Asphalt Milling, 1-1/2" Thick 9 2,600 SY Superpave Asphalt Wearing Course, 1-1/2" Thick 10 1 LS Signage and Striping, Inclusive The Successful Bidder Who Is Awarded The Contract, Will Be Required To Pay "online" A Fee Of 0.0033% (1/3 of 1 percent) up to $5,000 Of The Contract Award Value. All interested parties must submit questions via online by the posted deadline. Bidders are not permitted to contact the Borough Engineer or staff directly. Bidders are required to submit a surety in the form of a bond or equivalent meeting 10% of the overall bid price in compliance with the contract documents. Bid bonds will be returned to the non-awarded bidders upon the execution of the contract. The successful Bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. Award of Contract will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
