The Work will be substantially performed within 3.0 months from the date of notification of award of contract or November 30, 2025, whichever is later. Contractors are advised the PROJECT shall include, but will not be limited to, the scope as outlined in the following summary. Part A Road Upgrading and Repaving to an RLU 80 Standard Cross Section for approximately 3.5km near Trepassey: Km 137.5-km 141.0: Pulverizing existing asphalt, placement of Granular A and repaving with 2 x 50mm lifts of surface course asphalt Included in the scope of work throughout this part is shouldering with Class B granular, signpost installations, guiderail installations, guidepost installations, culvert replacements and associated works. Please refer to the supplementary general conditions for a list of signpost installations, culvert replacements and guiderail installations. Part B - Road Upgrading and Repaving to an RLU 80 Standard Cross Section for approximately 5.0km near Peter's River Km 178.8km 183.8: Cold plane existing asphalt in areas, repaving of existing roadway with levelling asphalt in areas and repaving of entire roadway with 1 x 50mm lift of surface course asphalt Included in the scope of work throughout this part is shouldering with Class B granular, signpost installations, guiderail installations, culvert replacements and associated works.
