Closing Time: 2:00 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/08/18 12:00:00 AM NDT 1. Work under this contract includes: The demolition and full removal of structures at 16 Hoyles Avenue, excluding Unit #18, as shown on contract drawings. Scope includes demolition of foundation, footings, concrete slabs, related utilities, landscape remediation, and limited subsurface investigation through 2 test pits. 2 Unit #18 must be protected at all times. No demolition activities shall impact, damage, or compromise the structure, foundation, utilities, or surroundings of Unit #18. 3 The following outline is general and is not to be considered complete in every detail. The contractor is responsible for any damages caused outside the scope of work during construction. Before submitting a quote, bidders shall carefully examine the Contract Documents and the site of the proposed work to inform themselves fully of the existing conditions and limitations. 4 Contract price to include all tipping fees. Any concealed items of concern or that which is not contained in this scope of work are to be discussed with the NLHC representative before any work moves forward. 5 Please note: The contractor is responsible for conducting a thorough site assessment to identify potential hazards and determine the most appropriate demolition methods and equipment. 6 Contractor shall excavate 2 test pits at designated locations to a depth of up to 4 meters or until bedrock and/or water table is reached. Test pits shall be completed using standard excavation equipment and reinstated to match existing conditions. 7 A brief geotechnical summary report is to be submitted to NLHC by a qualified geotechnical or civil engineering company, for each pit, identifying general soil conditions and noting any potential environmental concerns, including visible or olfactory anomalies such as fuel odors, buried waste, or abandoned services.
