Work on this project includes irrigation system removals, installation of new permeable pavements, electrical and lighting improvements, landscape plantings and site furnishings. Bid Bond 5% of Contract Note: All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Hereby Cautioned Not to Contact Any Member of the City of Evanston Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person. The Evanston City Council also reserves the right to award the contract to an Evanston firm if that firm's bid is within 5% of the low bid. Only inquiries received a minimum of seven (7) working days prior to the date set for the opening of bids, will be given any consideration. The Contractor must commence work within 10 days of notice from the City and the work must be completed by 06/25/2026. In the event the work is not substantially completed by 06/11/2026, then in addition to any remedies available to the City, the Contractor will pay to the City the sum of $ 1,425.00 (Fourteen Hundred and Twenty Five Dollars) per day for each calendar day beyond those dates, until substantial completion of the work has been achieved.
