Site work for a water / sewer project in Evanston, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Evanston's Capital Planning and Engineering Bureau of the Evanston Public Works Agency is seeking proposals from experienced firms for: Professional engineering services in support of the City's annual lead service line replacement program. Services to be provided include field investigations, public outreach, design of lead service line replacements and water main improvements, construction-phase engineering services, project management, and funding support. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The Evanston City Council also reserves the right to award the contract to an Evanston firm if that firm's bid is within 5% of the low bid. The City (the City of Evanston) in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, hereby notifies all firms that it will affirmatively ensure that the contract(s) entered into pursuant to this notice will be awarded to the successful firm without discrimination on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation marital status, disability, familial status or national origin. The City of Evanston reserves the right to reject any or all submittals or to accept the submittal(s) deemed most advantageous to the City.
