The City of Evanston's Public Works Department is requesting information and a Statement of Qualifications from experienced firms to: Perform Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation of the City's combined sewer system. The Public Works Agency allocates approximately $800,000 annually for this type of rehabilitation work in sewer mains ranging in size from 8-inch diameter to 36-inch diameter. All potential Contractors must submit a qualification package whether or not they have previously been determined to be pre-qualified by the City of Evanston. Contractors deemed prequalified as part of this current process will be permitted to submit bids for this type of work in Evanston for at least the next three-year period (2026, 2027, & 2028) and up to the next five-year period (2029 & 2030). Only pre-qualified Contractors will be allowed to bid on these types of projects during this time period. Qualifications will be opened in private. The City (the City of Evanston) in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, hereby notifies all firms that it will affirmatively ensure that the contract(s) entered into pursuant to this notice will be awarded to the successful firm without discrimination on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation marital status, disability, familial status or national origin. Each Respondent shall be required to submit with his/her response a Disclosure of Ownership Interest Statement Form in accordance with Section 1-18-1 et seq. of the City Code. Failure to submit such information may result in the disqualification of such response. The City of Evanston reserves the right to reject any or all submittals or to accept the submittal(s) deemed most advantageous to the City. To assist such growth, the City’s goal is to have general contractors utilize M/W/D/EBEs to perform no less than 25% of the awarded contract.
