Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This Contract consists of miscellaneous modifications and improvements to the City of Manitowoc Downtown Streetscape along the east and west side of North 9th Street between Maritime and Chicago and the north and south sides of Jay Street between 10th Street and 7th Street. The project includes sidewalk removal to allow for new tree-pits within the existing sidewalk, curb replacements and new ladder crosswalks as well as planting new trees and shrubs. Work will require the disposal of concrete and other miscellaneous material. The contractor will also be responsible for preparing the planting areas with topsoil and compost and finishing with mulch matching other landscaping in the downtown. Based upon the timing of the bid, tree installation shall be completed in Fall of 2025 and perineal and shrub planting shall be completed in Spring of 2026.
