Site work and paving for a road / highway in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work included in this Contract, WS-21-6, shall consist of the surface preparation and asphaltic sealcoating on various existing asphalt streets within the City of Manitowoc. The location of each street is specified in the contract documents and is also shown on the maps at the end of these specifications. It is the intent of the City of Manitowoc to install a double sealcoat on some of the streets included in this contract. The Contractor shall use washed and fractured 3/8" granite stone chip (uncoated chips) for the base layer aggregate and a washed 1/8" granite stone chip aggregate for a finish layer aggregate on the double layer seal coated streets. The Contractor shall use a washed 1/8" granite stone chip aggregate on streets receiving a single layer seal coat. Location / Site Directions: South 11th St. - Washington St. to Marshall St. South 12th St. - Washington St. to Marshall St. South 17th St. - Hamilton St. to Madison St. South 18th St. - Wollmer St. to North End South 23rd St. - Clark St. to South End S. 25th St. - RR Tracks N. of Franklin to Clark St. Hamilton St. - S. 14th to S. 16th St. Hamilton St. - S. 16th St. to S. 20th St. Hamilton St. - S. 20th to S. 21st St. North 12th St. - Fairmont St. to Nagle Ave. Fairmont St. - Menasha Ave. to N. 11th St. Kuhl Street - Fairmont Ln. to N. 16th St. A bid Bond or Surety 2000 in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each proposal as a guaranty.
