Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a 48,118-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility.
The Town of Newton will receive unit bids from qualified contractors for a new Fire Department facility. See the bid unit summary for the breakdown of the bidding units. Submit bids either electronically via Keller's secure online planroom or in sealed form by mail or hand delivery to the address provided. Bids must clearly indicate the Bid Unit # and Contractor Name. Contractors wishing to bid on more than one unit must submit separate prices and sealed envelopes for each bid unit. All work is to be performed according to the Construction Progress Schedule in Section 00 72 00 - General Requirements. Plans and specifications are available for download online. Bid documents are provided solely for the purpose of obtaining offers for this project, and their use does not grant a license for other purposes. Upon receipt of the documents, bidders should verify they are complete and notify the construction manager if discrepancies or omissions are found. All questions about the plans and specifications should be sent by email to the construction manager by the specified deadline. The Town of Newton reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and accept a bid other than the lowest at their discretion.
