Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Newport, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of September 22, 2025, the project was awarded to Riegler Blacktop but the awarded amount is not available. The City of Newport is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for milling and repaving the asphalt parking lot located behind Newport City Hall (see attached map). The work includes a 2-inch asphalt mill overlay, full-depth asphalt repairs (as needed, unit price basis), and restriping of the lot. Any questions regarding the bid specifications should be directed to Dave Rogers at (859) 655-6357. The City of Newport is not responsible for the premature opening of or failure to open a sealed bid that is not properly addressed or identified. All information on the bid form shall be typewritten or printed in ink. Please do not use whiteout or correction tape on the bid form; doing so may result in the rejection of the bid. The City of Newport reserves the right to reject all bids and waive all formalities in the award of the bid.
