The Village of Penn Yan, Yates County, New York, will be accepting statements of qualifications for Engineering Consulting Services for the Village s Outlet Trail interceptor Sewer replacement project. The Village of Penn Yan s wastewater collection system has been experiencing a problem with inflow and infiltration, which has resulted in unnecessary treatment costs and capacity limits of the collection and treatment facility. An area of particular concern is the interceptor sewers running along the Outlet Trail. The Village engaged Elliott Engineering Solutions to review this area and prepare an engineering report titled Outlet Trail Interceptor Sewer Replacement . On the recommendation of Elliott, the Village will be replacing the 18-inch vitrified clay tile pipe with a 24-inch line. This project is part of the Village s continuous efforts to reduce the inflow and infiltration within their wastewater collection system. The Village of Penn Yan reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
