Renovation of a water / sewer project in Plainville, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**As of October 06, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work under this Contract shall consist of the demolition of the existing boiler system and installation of a new boiler system and controls according to the specifications in the Bid documents. Water Pollution Control Boiler Replacement Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a certified check of Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of Bid. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond will be required equal to the value of the contract. All sureties must be listed on the most recent IRS Circular 570. All bidders are required to inform themselves fully of the conditions relating to the construction and labor under which the work will be or is now being performed and the contractor shall employ as possible, such methods and means to carry out this work that does not cause interruption or interfere with any other contractor. No Bid may be withdrawn until one hundred and twenty (120), calendar days after the date of the opening of the Bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the Bids: to reject any and all Bids; or to accept the Bid that in his judgement will be in the best interest of the Town of Plainville.
