Perform annual, semi-annual, and five-year load testing and inspection services for all Vertical Transportation Units (VTUs) at the VA Long Beach Medical Center. VTUs include elevators, dumbwaiters, wheelchair lifts, and cart lifts. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and transportation necessary to conduct independent inspections and safety tests in accordance with ASME standards and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Services must include verification, certification, tagging, and documentation of inspections and tests. Technicians must hold current ASME QEI-1 certification. Reports must be submitted within ten business days of service completion and include detailed findings, safety code violations, and recommendations for repairs or adjustments. Location: VA Long Beach Medical Center, 5901 East 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822 ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Base: 9/1/2025-8/31/2026 Option Year 1: 9/1/2026-8/31/2027 Option Year 2: 9/1/2027-8/31/2028 Option Year 3: 9/1/2028-8/31/2029 Option Year 4: 9/1/2029-8/31/2030 The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
