Site work for a water / sewer project in River Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of September 30, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on October 16, 2025.** The work to be performed will include lining three individual segments of existing 8", 10" and 12" watermain which crosses the Des Plaines River as well as valve and vault installation and restoration work such as pavement patching, removal and replacement of curb and gutter, sidewalk removal and replacement, driveway pavement removal and replacement, topsoil placement, sodding, and other related work. The successful bidder for the work will be required to furnish sufficient insurance to the Village of River Grove and the Engineer against all damage claims that might arise due to the negligence of the Contractor and will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of the contract. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Proposals without the consent of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of River Grove for a period forty-five (45) days after the scheduled time of bid opening. The Village is using local funding for the completion of the project. The Village of River Grove reserves the right in receiving these bids to waive technicalities and reject any or all bids.
