Site work for a water / sewer project in St Charles, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project generally consists of but not limited to: new wood/metal boardwalk construction with abutments (Otter Creek), existing boardwalk repairs, existing boardwalk decking replacement, and gravel pathways restoration. It is the policy of the St. Charles Park District to encourage the participation of minorities, women, and persons with disabilities to the maximum extent feasible in Park District projects. The St. Charles Park District reserves the right to reject any or all propos-als or to accept any proposals which, in its judgment, will be to the best interest of the Park District. Only bids in compliance with the provisions of the specifications will be considered. All bidders must comply with the applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of Kane County prevailing wages by all contractors working on public projects, and bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor and bidding, including Equal Opportunity Laws. Should Bidder find any discrepancies in or omissions from any of the documents, or be in doubt as to their meanings, he or she shall advise the Superintendent of Parks & Planning, Laura Rudow, in writing Park Development including but not limited to: new wood/metal boardwalk construction with abutments (Otter Creek), existing boardwalk repairs (Ferson), and existing boardwalk decking replacement (Ferson).
