Contractor shall provide new wash bay equipment for three (3) wash bays at the City Services Center, 500 15th Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404. Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of existing equipment. New Wash Bay System shall include: Heavy-duty stainless steel frame construction, three high-performance pumps (minimum 10gpm at 1800psi), three 15 HP pumps with stainless steel motor/pump bases, control panels rated to applicable standards with motor starters and overload protection, two stainless steel storage tanks for rinse water and soap solutions, and three stainless steel meter boxes (each with an eight-position rotary selector switch, push-button start with timer for automatic shut-off function, identification decals, and sufficient control wire). New Hot Water Boiler System shall include: Six (6) natural gas fired, tankless water heaters with anti-scale technology, stainless steel heat exchangers, capacity to 8 11 recover 300+ gallons per hour per unit, stainless steel shut off and relief valves, adequately sized stainless steel storage tank with thermostat and pressure/temperature relief valve, certified expansion tank, and a system pre-plumbed and pre-wired, mounted on a powder-coated frame.
