Contractor is responsible for exact measurements. 3.3 Work shall be completed primarily during business hours (7am to 5pm; Monday through Friday). Night/weekend work shall be minimal, depending on noise level and area of work. 3.5 Contractor shall have all materials on site, or in storage locally, before work can begin. 3.6 This is a secure facility. The Contractor's Project Manager will be issued a temporary access badge for entry before work begins and for the duration of the project. The Contractor's Project Manager is required to be on site at any time Contractor's Employees are on site and working. The Project Manager's badge shall be verified by the City's contact person and returned upon completion of work before any retainage will be released. 3.7 The Work will be completed in three phases to accommodate on-site personnel displacements. Phase one will focus on the lower-level conference room followed by the Meter Shop offices. Phase two will address the upper-level Engineering Department and associated offices. The third and final phase will encompass the Water Customer Service Department. Scope of Work 2.1 Contractor shall prepare surfaces as needed (e.g., cleaning, patching all holes, scratches and dings, caulk cracks in walls and windows, sanding, etc.) and in accordance with paint manufacturer's recommendations to ensure final results will be covered under warranty. 2.2 Paint colors to be chosen by Owner. 2.3 Mask and apply 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Duration eggshell paint (or equal), colors to be determined, to all walls as indicated: all offices, inside/outside cubicle spaces, conference rooms, closets, service areas, file/print rooms, kitchens/breakrooms, restrooms, stairwells, entryways, hallways, reception area, and gym per attached plans and in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. 2.4 Prep (sand, clean, spot-prime, caulk, mask) and apply Sherwin-Williams Pro Industrial DTM paint (SW 6258 Tricorn Black) to elevator doors, frames, and all metal door frames and sidelights, both interior and exterior. 2.5 The work site is a fully functional workplace. Contractor shall coordinate with the City's project manager to minimize disruption. Monitoring and maintaining acceptable noise levels is required at all times. 2.6 The contractor shall provide availability in advance and coordinate with the City's project manager for painting to coincide with the completion of other phases of the project. 2.7 The Contractor shall be responsible for repairing any damage caused during the painting process. This includes, but is not limited to, drywall repair and paint touch-ups. All repairs must restore affected surfaces to their original condition or better.
