This Request for Proposals is issued by NPC for the provision of specialized masonry contracting services for the repair of the Niagara River Parkway Parapet Wall in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. The first sections of the parapet wall that contour around the cliff overlooking the falls were constructed around 1906. As a character-defining feature of the Niagara Parks land holdings, the wall presents an impressive appearance both from the Park and from the opposite side of the river. Through this restoration effort, NPC seeks to bring the parapet wall back to life-revitalizing its historic presence, preserving its architectural integrity, and ensuring it continues to inspire and endure for generations to come.
